As of November 2022, there were 231,597 refugees living in the UK*, many coming from war torn countries where basic provisions such as access to shelter, clean water & food formed part of their daily struggles.
Once these refugees find safety in the UK, they are faced with new barriers to overcome and mountains to climb. Living in an unfamiliar country surrounded by new cultures and foreign language can make their dreams and ambitions fade.
